OUR STUDIOS

Def Wolf Recording Studios is located in the quiet beach-side suburb of Kurnell. 40 minutes south of Sydney's CBD.

Def Wolf is a brand new complex - built to our specifications. The studio runs on solar energy and boasts great acoustics. All rooms are air-conditioned with full colour spectrum mood lighting for maximum comfort and a killer vibe.

We’re all about capturing the vibe here at Def Wolf Recording Studios. Our studios were built with live tracking  in mind - featuring line of sight between downstairs rooms, contrasting acoustics between tracking spaces, and world class equipment to capture the sounds you create.

Def Wolf Studios are perfect for the freelance producer / engineer.  We have both a Pro Tools HDX rig and HD Native Thunderbolt connectivity so visiting producers/ engineers can plug and play their computer directly into our Analog/Digital Hybrid system with 40 channels of I/O’s - or you're welcome to use our rig. Our patch bay is ready to accept any additional hardware you choose to bring along too.

For a full list of our services head over to our Rates page or come in for a tour and check out Def Wolf Recording Studios for yourself.

Live Room

The Live Room has a lot of natural ambiance to it. 40m2 with a ceiling height of 4.2m.

This is the room for everything from that big drum sound to a string quartet.

Acoustic instruments really come to life here. We’ve invested a lot in gear over the years but this room would have to be the stand out feature of the new Def Wolf Studios.

Dead Room

A super tight room where our guitar amps live.

It’s also big enough to track drums if a super tight sound is what you're after.

George Georgiadis

Engineer / Producer

George plays drums, has nice guitars and recording gear, loves music, surfing, and the many ways you can cook eggs.

He started getting serious about the studio when Guy Sebastian asked him to be engineer in his personal studio back in 2013. There he worked with an unlikely mix of people, from Skegss, to Delta Goodrem, Ruby Fields, Shannon Noll, Pist Idiots, Guy Sebastian and friends.

He’s produced/mixed/mastered for a decently sized bagful of musicians known and loved by triple j and everyone’s mum, including Debbies, Last Dinosaurs, Azure Ryder, Waax, the Whitlams, Seathru, Tyne-James Organ, the Vanns, Sloan Peterson, Gang of Youths, Seaside, Good Doogs, as well as engineering/drumming/co-mixing (with Chris Collins) and mastering the Aria nominated album “Snowpine” by Charlie Collins.

If you want to make great records, and/or have an commonly uncharted yet amazing egg cooking technique, hit George up.
